New kids series Karma’s World, created by rapper & actor Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges (Crash, Fast & The Furious) is coming to Netflix.

The series follows Karma, an aspiring musical artist and rapper with talent and ambition, and an even bigger heart. Smart, resilient, and deeply empathetic, she pours her soul into her writing, channelling her feelings into rhymes with passion, courage, and her signature brand of humour.

“I’m so proud of Karma’s World, which was inspired by my oldest daughter Karma. It’s about a girl who wants to bring positivity to the world through her music, and each episode draws on real-life situations faced by kids today” said creator and Executive Producer Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges.

“We see Karma use her voice to help her family, friends and community, demonstrating the power young people have to create change. I truly believe that every single person on this earth has the power to change the world for the better – just like Karma! It is important to me that kids and families around the world will identify with Karma’s World, and my goal for the show is to help spread positivity, inspire self confidence in our children, and bring the world together through music.”

Throughout the series, Karma, voiced by 3-time Grammy nominated singer and songwriter, Asiahn Bryant, and her tight-knit crew face the challenges of growing up while learning to express themselves and inspire others, one song at a time. The series focuses on themes of self-expression, identity, leadership, creativity and the importance of community as ten-year-old Karma uses her music to help her family, friends and community, while learning just how much power her words can have. She doesn’t just want to share her music with the world… she wants to change the world with it!

Every episode of the animated series for children ages 6-9 years, is infused with all-new original hip-hop music by Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges. The series is produced by 9 Story Media Group’s Oscar-nominated, Dublin-based studio Brown Bag Films and its Emmy Award-winning Creative Affairs Group as well as Karma’s World Entertainment, Chris Bridge’s production company.

Friday October 15 on Netflix.
