Chernobyl, The End Of The F***Ing World (pictured) and Stath Lets Flats were amongst winners at the 2020 BAFTA TV Awards, held virtually due to the COVID pandemic.

Glenda Jackson won Best Actress for Elizabeth Is Missing, her first television role in 27 years, while Jared Harris won Best Actor for Chernobyl.

Aussie Sarah Kendall missed out for Frayed, as did Adam Hills-hosted The Last Leg.

Adding its previous BAFTA Craft Awards, Chernobyl becomes the most-awarded TV series in BAFTAs history.

Host Richard Ayoade said,  “It’s sad it had taken a pandemic to enforce the most basic parameters of personal space,” he joked.

The result, he said, would be “the least touchy-feely BAFTAs to date”.

The night included a musical number from Tim Minchin.
