Influencer marketing platform CreatorIQ has raised $40 million in fresh funding to “invest in our data, commerce, and measurement technologies to better solve customer outcomes,” says founder and CEO Igor Vaks (pictured above).

“We’ve witnessed accelerating growth of the creator economy over the past eighteen months fueled by the convergence of creators, commerce, and community,” Vaks said in a statement.

The Series D round was led by previous investors TVC Capital, Kayne Partners Fund, Affinity Group, and Unilever Ventures, and was participated in by new investor Silver Lake Waterman.

To date, CreatorIQ has raised more than $80 million. Its last round was a Series C in July 2020 that raised $24 million from Kayne Partners Fund, TVC Capital, and Unilever Ventures to invest in user experience, data science, paid media and advanced measurement, global expansion, and strategic partnerships, according to the platform.

CreatorIQ adds that it plans to use Series D funding to “further accelerate the leadership position of its Creator Intelligence Cloud, with a focus on e-commerce and measurement.”

The Creator Intelligence Cloud, CreatorIQ’s proprietary software, allows clients like AB Inbev, Airbnb, Calvin Klein, CVS, Disney, H&M, Sephora, and Unilever to manage (and measure the performance of) their influencer marketing campaigns, with emphasis on allowing “global teams to collaborate on a single system of record and streamline every aspect of their workflow,” it says.

“Influencer marketing is a key area of opportunity and differentiation that brands and agencies are eager to address with next generation analytics and automation,” Shawn O’Neill, managing director and group head at Silver Lake Waterman, said in a statement. “CreatorIQ’s strength in data analysis and management is driving its leadership position and we are excited to partner with them to help drive their continued growth and market adoption.”

CreatorIQ is headquartered in Los Angeles with offices in San Francisco, Denver, Austin, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Miami, New York City, London, Kharkiv, and Auckland.
