Amid the speedy growth of its TikTok-esque Spotlight product, Snapchat has tendered three key hires.

First, Sam Corrao Clanon (pictured above) has joined Snapchat as director of content, with a focus on Spotlight. In this newly-created role, Corraro Clanon will oversee the Spotlight content team globally, reporting to Ben Schwerin, Snapchat’s SVP of content and partnerships.

Corraro Clanon joins Snapchat from TikTok, where he previously led content strategy and insights, and was responsible for prioritizing markets and identifying and amplifying trends, per Snapchat.

Additionally, Varshini Satish has joined the company as senior associate of talent partnerships. Satish will report to Snapchat’s senior manager of talent partnerships, Quincy Kevan. She also comes to the company from TikTok, where she formerly served as a partner manager, identifying and nurturing several top TikTok creators and helping to build accelerator programs to onboard new creators and foster diversity.

Finally, Rajni Jacques joins Snapchat as its head of fashion and beauty partnerships. Based in New York, she will report to Snapchat’s head of brand and games partnerships, John Imah. In this role, Jacques will help fashion partners build their presence on Snapchat via its AR tools, Bitmoji, and other products. She most recently served as the fashion director at Conde Nast‘s Teen Vogue and Allure titles.

On the fashion front, Snapchat announced at its Partner Summit last month the addition of new technically-advanced AR try-on features in partnership with brands like Prada, Farfetch, Piaget, Dior, and Gucci.

Spotlight is currently rolling out globally, and Snapchat says the platform reaches 125 million monthly active users. Since its launch, a total of 5,400 creators have earned more than $130 million on the platform.

Snapchat’s latest hires arrive amid the departure of another key content exec, head of originals Sean Mills, who is leaving the company this fall.
