Between last week and now, four of the top five channels in our US-only Tubefilter chart saw their viewership decline, but those dips were not significant enough to create any changes at the top of the ranking. A children’s animation studio based in Southern California is still the most-viewed YouTube channel in the US, and the first four runners-up behind it maintained the same chart positions they held last week.
Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes has been the most viewed YouTube channel in the world over the past few months, and during the last week of June, it remained #1 in both our global and US-only rankings. It’s latest seven-day totals include 907.8 million views and more than 700,000 new subscribers. While those numbers may be fairly pedestrian for a channel that once cracked one billion views per week, they are still far ahead of the second-most trafficked American YouTube channel, Kids Diana Show. The family vlog ended the week with 591.4 million views to remain #2 in our US-based chart.
The next three channels in the ranking all held onto the same positions they reached last week; in fact, the entire top ten was unchanged from our previous US chart. The #3 spot went once again to Like Nastya, a kid-friendly channel that received 508.3 million views. Behind it in fourth place was Vlad and Nikita; the Floridian channel, which also appeals to YouTube’s youngest set, reeled in 475.6 million views during our US chart’s most recent measured period. Finally, WWE rounded out the top five. The official YouTube home of World Wrestling Entertainment saw its viewership drop by 21% over the previous week, but its 242.8 weekly views were still enough to reach the ranking’s uppermost echelon.
Back in January, news arrived that the ACE Family, a massively popular and hugely controversial blogging channel, was expecting its third child. Nearly six months later, that child has been successfully delivered, and while the ACE Family hasn’t yet revealed the name of their first boy, they have released several videos featuring him. In one, the infant’s two older sisters — Elle and Alaïa — meet their new baby brother. It has received nearly five million views to date.
Bolstered by the hubbub over their newborn child, The ACE Family’s official YouTube channel has zoomed into the top 50 of our US-only ranking. The channel received more than 49.1 million views over the past seven days, more than three times as many as it received the week before that. The rising viewership was enough to make The ACE Family the 49th-most viewed channel in the US. Previously, it had not even cracked the top 500.
Gumball‘s big week was also a win for its broadcaster, Cartoon Network. The Warner Bros.-owned cable hub was the 24th-most viewed US-based YouTube channel this week, thanks to 81.5 million views over that period.
